Hi, Is there a way to decalcify or sediment removal from the existing pipes in the house?

Copper pipes installed across home. I recently had a leak in the pipe due to excessive calcification, wondering if there is a way the calcification can be removed.

How would "calcification" cause a leak? It would just decrease the open area in the pipe so that the flow rate would go down. Copper pipes will leak, but the cause is probably one or more of: bad soldering at junctions, cracked fittings, pin holes, nails or screws driven into a pipe, or ice expansion. Which raises the question, who told you calcification was the problem, and what information did they provide to support that statement?
