Mainline Shower Valve to American Standard

Hello all, I have Mainline / Danze shower fixtures and we would like to change them to an American Standard trim kit that we like. One of our shower cartridges needs to be replaced, so we will upgrade both while we are at it. My question is, do different shower valves fit a variety of brand cartridges? Do they make an adapter for this valve to fit an American Standard cartridge, a Danze cartridge to fit an American standard trim kit / handle, or will I need to change the entire valve to accomplish this?

manufacturers mostly have individualized cartridges. there are exceptions that are numerous but that is not pertaining to what you show.
So, NO, I don't think I've seen Danze to A/S adapter. your own google search would be the only hope.
