Will a flex coupling hold up if I cut it? Have 3" PVC pipe with a 45 degree 1 1/2" pipe going into it that I need to move. If I cut the pipe coming in smooth on the coupler already in place and cut the flex coupler to slide around will it hold?

If you trying to use some type of flexible pipe in a DWV system it's not allowed. It sounds like the pipe your trying to use is what is used on hot tubs.
