The previous owner had sawed off the PVC pipe that connected the sprinkler to water pipe coming out of the wall. Here are a few pics. I need to reconnect this. What do I need other then some PVC pipe and glue. How can I thread a pvc pipe to the metal T coupling that has a hose bib on one end.

start with lever handle a shut-off valve at the tee, I'd then use a water heater flex with bushings or bell reducer with nipples if you need high flow.

presuming: that anti-siphon irrigation valve in the img28 should serve that function, IF that is the type of system being served.

You also need a testable back flow device
This valve separates the 2 systems and protects the drinking water in your house from possible contamination from lawn chems or the dirty water from the system
The guy is in India and the PVC doesn't look like it's schedule 40. Looks like sprinkler PVC pipe. I don't think he's worried about a back flow 😂
