I recently purchased an old monster double sink concrete utility sink that has no tailpiece or any way to attach a tailpiece. The drain is a solid embedded piece of cast iron that evacuates in a 1.5 inch receptable with no threads. i assume the fitting has been lost- so- can I epoxy a pvc tailpipe in this receptacle? Any advice appreciated. Thanks
MZ

Plumbers putty for the fluted pipe into the collar, and two nuts and bolts (don't forget washers)
from your sink base to the flange posted above.

No, metal washers used before the nut and bolt on both sides of the clamp. It will allow tightening of the bolt without twisting out of the channel.

I’d probably insert a piece of tubular and then use some JB weld. Once cured I’d get my wife to “ Hawk Tuah on that thang “
