Oh nice, I'm trying to figure out the differences in the Canadian and American codes. Where do you guys reside?

We use the UPC [uniform plumbing code]



the difference between the Ipc and the Upc

Ipc will let you do all kinds of crappy plumbing, it was put together to make things easier fot builders and contractors
with out any regard for the safety of the public.

the upc is a strickter code. that does not give a darn if the builder has to fur a wall. or use a 2x12 for floor support instead of 2x10.
