Can anyone identify this pop-up bathroom sink stopper?

The sink has no branding on it whatsoever, and the stopper doesn't seem to either. On the underside of the plastic part is stamped "BREV." On the top part of the plastic part is stamped the single digit "8." There are no identifying marks at all on the metal portion.

I purchased the sink about 20 years ago, and my vague recollection was that it was European, though I might be wrong about that. I tried a couple of replacement parts from Kohler, and the don't fit. Even Kohler's adjustable stopper didn't even come close. The stopper diameter is 1 and 9/16"

Any help greatly appreciated!

Worthy asking, you never know, but, I doubt you will find one.
Many plumbers accumulate a pile of them, but nobody is going to spend the time looking.
I suggest you plan on replacing.
I like the mostly-all-metal products...I have a dozen metal Grohe lav sink pop ups on the shelf. Under $20 on ebay.
