I'm at a bit of a loss here? Obviously all the valves need replaced, but, the tubing and valves are steel. How were these originally sweated?? Do they make these fittings anymore? With a dial indicator the tubing measures .502" diameter. Any ideas on my options? And as I got shunned and booted on a previous forum... I'll post pics.. These are 1/2" OD steel tubing.IMG_8491 (Large).jpg

Looks like copper tubing and brass globe valves

They are a steel hydronic tube. Most of them that old we're stick welded with rod and an acetylene torch. Brass rod and a torch is what I have used before

Thanks guys, good info. I'm assuming no one makes a fitting to convert this to 1/2 copper or even pex?
