Replaced my bathroom faucet today. It came with a popup drain so decided I to install it too. In doing so a piece of the underside of the ceramic sink broke off. Hard for me to describe but it was a piece of the flange (?) that sticks out for the drain opening. Anyway I finished installing the drain which has overflow holes and it leaked. The seal Crome the top side of the sink seamed good but I think it is leaking from the overflow holes. Wondering if I used a drain with no overflow holes if it would work?
