Attaching washing machine to drain under sink (screenshot)

I know those sexy faucets will provide water for the intake, but my confusion is about hooking up a drain hose to the drain pipe. Am I correct in seeing an available opening at the base of the drain pipe (painted over in white)? Or does that Y-split pipe need to be left alone for some reason?

Any comments on how I should approach hooking up the drain would be appreciated!

You need to cut in a ABS dishwasher wye before your s-trap mess

try this..tie into the wye thingy, with a male adapter

run the 2'' pipe to outside the cabinet,,and install a washer drain/ stand pipe with p trap and vent
