my girlfriend owns her home and lives with her daughter and has a separate apartment upstairs for her brother n sister in law. so 4 people showering and stuff like that. the last yr she has noticed it taking longer n longer for hot water to come. her brother showers first and says its decently warm but after that it takes forever. same with washing dishes. takes a long time to get hot water
my uncle says she should get a new sensor or aquastat? anyone have any ideas or other ideas?

Once hot water gets there, is there enough hot water available? Do you know if there is a recirculating system in place?

she says sometimes it stays n sometimes it comes n goes. she doesn't kno if she has a recirculating system. she just said she has a water softner lol. how would i kno by looking or i guess i can ask her to ask her ex husband

find the water heater. see if a pump motor is conected to the pipes

she say shes doesnt have a water heater just a boiler

If she's just on a coil with no storage tank, the coil could be getting plugged up and it's time to replace. Call a plumber to come over and asess it
