Thanks for the response. The actuator is good, it pushes the valve down when it is meant to be in circulate and releases when meant to be in the other position. The return spring pushes both the valve and the actuator up into home position while at the same time tripping the circulator pump off. I removed the valve and soaked it in vinegar for 24 hours brushed it clean with tooth brush and lubed it with crisco. It stuck again lol I ordered 2 replacements as I have 2 boilers. I’ll be taking it out again. Thanks again for your response 👍
Hi I have the same issue as you and I need to replace my 3 way valve every year. I was thinking if there is a way to replace the spring with a stronger one or modify it in some way so that it returns without me having to pull up on it. Has anyone else had any experience with this or found a solution ?

has the valve worked properly in the pass?
Yes it worked fine When we had the boiler installed in 2019. The first valve lasted 2 years. It’s been getting stuck every year since. It sticks after a week or so of using the heat again for the season. We turn the heat on in November. I’ll change it and it works fine for the rest of the time I use the heat which is until March or April.
