i need to order a new plastic flange for my toilets. my house was built in 1966. i have cast iron pipes.
would that be 3 inch?

Plastic flanges are IMHO the worst, with neither strength nor benefit compared to stainless steel.
There are hinged SS repair flanges, solid flanges.

If it's cast it most likely 4", but it could be 3" just not as common in my area.

Buy both, then return the unused one?
