Hello, everyone. Thanks You for any help or advise .
I have a half bath and in the process of adding a shower. I was also planning on creating a small kitchen with a sink. The area the sink is going in the old garage that is 7" lower the than the bathroom and a subfloor will be build to match the bath floor.
The plumber that I'm working with, really did not want to deal with cutting the concrete, so I either get an handyman or relative to cut the floor. I did not know anything about plumbing and I have a hard time pin pointing exactly where he wants to cut the floor. He insisting that I put a pump to ejection the water up to the second floor. I did not like that ideal at all and then he questioned my decision about putting in a sink.
The only think that I got out of my consultation was where to cut the floor for the shower drain line. Could someone please look at my plan and advise me, if it feasible to put in a drain line for the sink and where to cut the drain line. By the way the main 3" line where the washer is tied in, is under 7" of concrete and is under at least 6" of gravel and dirt.
In the picture the black line is the existing line and the red in where I think I need to cut the concrete.
Thanks
