1/2" supply to 1/4" male flare --- Instant Hot Water unit

I'm having difficulty finding the right combination of components to make this work.

I have 1/2" supply with 1/2" male pipe thread. The Instant Hot Water heater has 1/4" male flare. I'd like to add a shutoff valve as well.

So I'd like to go from 1/2" male pipe thread, to a shutoff valve, and then connect to the 1/4" male flare on the heater unit.

you need a 1/2'' ips [threaded] x 1/4'' compression angle stop.

then,,,you need some 1/4'' tubing and a 1/4'' flare nut...

flare the end of the tubing...connect to instahot

hook the other end to the angle stop

So the tubing will have a flare on one end --- which goes to the instaHot and the other end will be connected via compression at the shutoff valve....

Thanks ---- for some reason I was having trouble finding the right shutoff valve combination so thanks for the link....

you will have to flare the tubiing...on one end
