Wow, booze isn't cheap... even when you get a deal. I think I'm glad I'm not a drinker.
Being new to the South and this area, I didn't know what an ABC store was? Their prices as craziness on everything and that place is always busy. I can't imagine the astronomical amount of tax dollars that place generates a day, not to mention the other 364 days of the year, WOW! :smashy:

The only issue I have ever had with drinking, was running out! LOL :beeroclock:

Virginia has ABC stores as well and they are the reason my wife and I travel up the I-95 corridor to New Hampshire once or twice a year where their state-run liquor stores, easy off and back onto the highway, are very cheap in comparison and they are tax free as well!

Oh wow I did not know that. At one time I seen a list of all the states listed in order of who had the highest taxes on Spirits. If I remember correctly, NC was no. 2 or 3 on that list and I think Missouri was the lowest.

Yes I enjoy that Bacon also along with sausage, chops, ribs, ham, etc. LOL Unfortunately I called her my grease pig because of all her extra fat she had on her and she made the most amazing lard. I am old school and very fortunate to be able to do all my own processing from start to finish.

This is my first time at raising this breed of hog, they are called AHG short for American Guinea Hog. They are a unique breed of hog with an interesting history to go with them if you have never heard of them before ?

I have my hogs on a special diet of fermented feed with vitamins and minerals added, so the meat is super super taste. I preferer lean meaty bacon over fatty, so I have other hogs that are much leaner and make excellent Bacon. :)
