Well Water Pressure

Below is the setup of the well pump when we purchased the home. The well is actually under a crawal space of one room of th house. 100 year old home that has been remodeled over the well. Anyway, I am having trouble maintaining water pressure to the shower. I just purchased a new air tank set at 69psi and the pump 70 psi. I have to change filters alot due to the rust in the water. I was wondering if possible some of the actual water lines could be plugging up like the filters when I changfe them.

The pressure tank should be set with air pressure a couple psi lower than the start water pressure of the pressure switch.
And the water system should have zero pressure when setting i.e. turn off pump ... turn a faucet on and wait until gauge goes to zero. Then check the pressure at the tank Schrader valve with a tire gauge. Might be wise to confirm first what the psi is on the water pressure gauge when your pump is actually starting & stopping. ( 70 seems high )
Also be aware that the 1/4 pipe nipple connecting the pressure switch to the system can become plugged causing "flakey" operation.

I looked online and it shows everything connected to the tank NOT from the pump. I also made a mistake. I had my air tank two psi lower from the 70 psi, cut off not the kick on

If cut off is 70 cut on is most likely 50. Set the tank to 45-48 with system pressure at zero and a faucet open. With the tank pressure at 68 not much water is being let into the tank.
