What is the highest safe water pressure copper pipe with sweated joints can withstand in a home?

Its not the soldered joints you have to worry about, its your faucets. I dont think its good for them much above 80psi
Not to mention, WC flex connectors with plastic nuts at the ballcock

The pipe and all the fittings are generally certified for 100 to 150-psi. That said, AWWA standards and some plumbing code versions require delivery pressures of 30 to 80-psi, and mandate installation of pressure regulating valves to get it into that range.
