We bought a home with pretty low water pressure. The city said it can be increased a little. I tried to adjust the (Matco) valve, but I cannot turn it counterclockwise to increase it because there is a built-in metal piece in the way (close to the M in the trademark). I can only turn it to the right to decrease. Any suggestions?

Thanks. I talked to the manufacturer of this valve and this is an on/off valve only. Evidently I do not have a water pressure regulator. So I will talk to the city again to find out why my inside water pressure is 50 when the city’s water pressure to my house to 70. Thank you again.

Update: The water department located the pressure regulator valve. So now I’m wondering how to adjust it? Thanks again.
