Brand new AO Smith tank. Water is pooling on top at random times as seen dried inside the circles. It can go days without water on top then at random times there will be tiny pools of water. Can not find where the leak is occurring and does not seem to be coming from the cold water inlet. Any suggestions? Thanks.

You could insulate the water piping but make sure it’s protected from the heat of the vent.

Was there any indication of this happening with the old tank?
