hi!
I need to conenct a washing machine evacuation pipe to the current installation but i'm not sure if i can directly connect it or if it needs to have another elbows or siphon etc..?
info:
-On the pictures, the vertical pipe looks conencted but it is not..it's hanging..
-there is already a siphon further and elbows, but i don't know if it needs another one for every new installation..dumb question i know..but, i'm not sure..
-on the picture written in french, it shows where i will connect the vertical drain pipe, i just don't know if i can connect it straight away if it needs elbows..

Thanks!

Need a better picture of the laundry box but something doesn't look right, the vertical pipe should have a p-trap on it then connect the bigger drain pipe along with a vent ,was the washer moved and that's why the pipe has been cut?????

hi,
It's an appartment building so it's a bit different and we dont see the vent but it's there. And the p-trap is there too, and it'S actually what i'm wondering: do i need to make another one for the vertical pipe or just one is fine even if it already serve the sink?

The vertical pipe is not connected, even though it looks like it in the picture, it's not, it has been cut to attach the sink to the p-trap, i need to reconenct the vertical pipe but i wasnt sure if it needs another p-trap or elbows..like, can i siply connect it to the horizontal pipe we see (the one on the picture with an arrow)

Thanks!

i didnt do the plumbing here, it already been done by a professional a long time ago, like i said before: there is a vent already, we just dont see it in the picture..
All i wanted to know is if i need to add another p-trap just for the washing machine's vertical pipe or if i can directly conenct it on the sink pipe (the long horizontal pipe) or if i need to make something special to make sure there is a siphon, even if there already is one from the sink.

The stand pipe and the sink if I were repiping would be 2 separate wye connections on the main I would remove that clamp and start fresh
