Hi all, I replaced a double bowl kitchen sink with a single centre drain. I want to try the drain plumbing myself. Here's a mockup of what I want to do. X is what I'll cut off. I will remove that dishwasher adapter. Then add a 90 to align with the drain. And add a tailpiece like
the attached for the dishwasher connector. Does this sound ok or am I missing anything? I assume the 90 will need to be glued?
Thank you.

We would simply cut out the glued assembly to the wall stub out, and redo it in tubular plastic slip-joint p-trap

Would it be ok if I cut at the red line and add a 45 there (purple) ? The wall pipe doesn't HAVE to bend down at the wall does it?

Then run a few inches straight to meet the ptrap which will be directly below the drain.
