washer and toilet bolt fell down waste pipe

was tring to change the wax ring on my toliet, when the plastic washer and toilet bolt fell down waste pipe. I can't see the bolt and washer...any ideas how I can get this out?

I'd chalk it up to experience and purchase replacements.

Who doesn't like coating their arm in feces?

If for whatever reason you don't like a good case of poop-arm, I agree with the others, just buy a replacement. the bolt shouldn't be large enough to wedge in a waste pipe, even if it isn't the recommended way to dispose of used hardware.

Poop-arm... I install sewer mains in the street and have to tie into live mains all the time we get poop everything.
