Verify Pipe Size

I had some sewer pipe installed under my house and there is a question if it was sewer pipe or drain pipe put under the foundation. Instead of digging up the pipe to verify the diameter, is there a way I can put something inside the pipe that would verify the diameter? Four inch drain pipe is slightly wider diameter inside then four inch sewer pipe. I was thinking about a ball with a string attached. If it was sewer pipe the ball would not go through, if it were drain pipe it would not. I had another Plumbing company come by to look at it and they said the risers were drain pipe and was not schedule 40. The other plumbing company said they didn't want to get involved so I need to find out on my own what type of pipe is under my house.

Usually there's a pretty good reason when the other plumber doesn't want to get involved .....wink wink
