Toilet spits like a volcano

I just replace a round toilet with an elongated one and now when I flush it it looks like a volcano spitting. Put on a Mansfield toilet. I tried everything from raising the water level to lowering the water. Flushes great with a bucket of water. Help. I'm going crazy.

I guess I got the Toilet Bidet combo.

It happens. I installed a new Kohler toilet at my other house. I never flushed correctly, then I started getting castings coming up from the bowl. I called Kohler and they sent me a new bowl, no questions asked.
