Hello to all,

I am kind of a newbie, so bear with me.

We recently bought a small house, with 2 toilets, 1 on the 2nd floor and one on the ground floor (both hanging toilets, house is about 5 years old).
I noticed that if you flush them, the water rises and then only slowly goes down (see 2nd vid below).

I have been looking around online and have done following things so far.
1) throw in an entire bucket of water -> went through without any problem, the water level did not rise in the bowl
2) checked the flapper (1st video), doesn't seem like an issue to me

I am not sure anymore what to do. Do I have a blockage (but I assume then the bucket of water wouldn't go down that easily)? Or do I have another problem. What would you recommend me doing?

Have you tested the toilet or toilets with paper,to see it it backs up,we have crane toilets in 2 of our dorms,I don't care for them but they fill up and then drain,I think with the test you did with the bucket of water, tells you that there is no stoppage, and there is movent issue
There are little holes under the rim of the bowl, they are what creates the swirling action when flushing, sometimes they come from the factory painted over,or there could be some build up in some of the holes you can clean them out with a small wire,or I have done it with an Allen key but be careful not to scratch the porcelain

thanks a lot for your feedback Geofd I haven't tried with paper. Do you mean just flushing it with paper inside? What happens if you do after your used the toilet that it sometimes stays floating which is bit uncomfortable. But if I understand correctly, according to you this might be normal?

I tried to clean these holea toroughly this weekend but maybe a wire is not a bad idea. There is a lot of Calc in the water here, so I'll give that a go.

I also got a comment regarding the "vents" that might be still (partially) taped during construction. What is your opinion on that?

Glad to hear that it is not a stoppage, I think so too. Going to try that wire and keep you posted.
Thanks for taking the time and giving me another option. Appreciate it!

Another thing you can do if you have calcium
Empty your tank, tape over the jet holes, pour vinegar in the hole were the flapper covers and you should get some into the rim

The water spot looks small(not much water in the bowl )

Is the bowl refilling via the ballcock refill tube ?

If that’s all the water the bowl holds then I’d trash that toilet.

You are in Denmark, so the construction and function of your toilets might be totally different than what we are used to seeing in north America.

No doubt, I didn’t even look. No telling what’s going on in Denmark.

I hope toilets functions approx the same way ;) but open to any suggestions.
There is actually more water filling up, I pushed the small button.
I don't know what the ballcock refill tube is, where can I find it?

Where is the tank in relation to the bowl? The video where you showed inside of the tank, where is that?
