When we flush the toilet there is a ridiculously loud humming sound. The walls vibrate/hum. There is no hammer, it is more like a constant trumpet. You can stop it (or adjust the frequency) by turning on that facet in the adjacent sink. It is worse in the morning when it is cold. It wakes the entire house & potentially the neighbours
Any assistance on what it could be & how to rectify it is greatly appreciated. Thanks

That WhatsApp sound is not an acceptable form of sound media. Can you try it again in a format like mp4?

2nd that "change the fill valve" or, if parts are available, change the washer, but only if that's easy. Fill valves are very inexpensive, however, so ... Mr. GReynolds929 be spot-on.🙃.
