I have a sink on one side of a wall. On the otherside was a metal coverplate. Behind that was the cleanout for the sink. There was a 2" or 2 1/4" plug in it.
I removed the plug and put in a straight piece sticking out of the wall. Then a U trap and then up to a new sink.

well I noticed the new sink seems to drain slowly. The old sink seems to drain normally.
The new sink is a garage type big plastic thing on legs. holds about 30gallons of water.
I filled it up on Sunday night. Its thursday and the sink is only half drained...
ooops.

The drain isnt clogged, its brand new. And the other sink drains so there is definitively nothing blocked there.

what did I mess up? I feel like the answer involves fluid dynamics and suction ;)
thanks for any advice.

sounds like you rigged it up nicely [/sarcasm]
if what you said is true, hit it with a plunger... if that doesn't solve it, call a professional
