I would like to tap into my well to feed my pond. Question is can I install a tee valve that shuts off the house on my feed line from the well to the hose. Shut the house off run water in the house to trigger the pump to turn on? Does this feasible?

All you need to do is remove any check valve(s) above ground and you can just tee into the well line anywhere you want. The trick is to have a big enough valve and line to fill the pool that the pump does not cycle on and off. But with a big line like that open to fill the pool, the house will not have any pressure during that time. You could install a Cycle Stop Valve before the first tee, then you can fill the pool with a smaller hose, the pump will not cycle, and the house will still have pressure while the pool is filling.

My well is 14 years old and 200 ft deep, is there any fear of burning up my pump. Wouldn't there be a check valve near my tank to cycle the pump on and off? My thought was if shut water off to the house the check valve would kick the pump on but would not turn off until it saw pressure which it wouldn't if have flow to the house off?

The only check valve you need is the one of the pump down in the well. The check valve only works one way. The pump would still fill the tank and cycle off if your pond fill line was not letting out enough water to keep the pressure low. Then if the pond fill line is keeping the pressure low, you would also have low pressure to the house. The only worry about damaging the pump is when you are no using enough water to keep the pump from cycling on and off. And that doesn't matter where you are using the water.
