Hi folks - before I go investigating, figured I check here to see if there's something particular I should look for. Very slow but evident drip coming from the handle (where the handle meets the spindle). Weird thing is about a year ago I replaced the innards of the valve with brand new hot and cold seats and new spindle. Has been fine for the past year until recently.

Any thoughts greatly appreciated.

There is a brass packing nut under the handle, use an adjustable wrench and tighten a little, the harder you tighten the harder it will be to turn the handle
If it still leaks find a rubber o-ring take the packing nut off slide the o-ring on, tighten down the packing nut

Just some info for you, symmons is made in Braintree,ma very good tech service, that valve is easy to fix, symmons makes their own tools to repair the valve,we have hundreds at the college I work for they are bullet proof

Thanks all! Yes this is more or less what I'm thinking. I will take a look. Just weird that it's all new parts as of a year ago - but I could very well have not tightened enough to prevent the handle from being too stiff.

and Geofd - yes I'm about 30 mins away from Braintree and have spoken to them before - great bunch over there. Thanks!
