I'm trying to remodel my small bathroom and I'm at the stage where I need to replace the shower valve. The shower valve I purchased was a moen posi-temp shower valve from Lowes which is threaded. So far most of the comments on the internet favors sweat valves over threaded valves. I just wanted to know what your opinions are on threaded vs. sweat valves.
I also saw a video where a guy connected a male/male coupler onto valve and a male adapter to his hot and cold lines then connected the two with a braided line. Would you guys recommend this?
