I'm new to soldering so just looking for some guidance with this bit of my project. So I bought a copper manifold to run my branches from my hot water tank's output and the offshoot stems are shorter than expected. They are only like 1.5 inches total length. Will there be an issue when I solder my valves on since the solder joint is literally .75 inches away from the factory joint? Any tips on doing this cleanly and correctly? I'm worried the factory joint will melt and have water tightness issues when I heat it up for my valve joints.
Thanks
