softener size confirmation

Based on what i researched it shows i need a 32K softener, but thinking about a 42K. Thoughts?..........We use on average 6,000 gallons a month or 200 gallons a day, that is 2 adults 2 teenagers, an 8 and 2. Hardness is 240 ppm or 14 gpg. 2 full bathrooms but will have 3 full in a couple months. Those numbers keep pointing me to a 32K but it is worth it to go to a 42K.
