Does anyone have a trick, or other information unbeknown to do it yourselfers, to help stop a dripping shower head. It's not leaking from the valves or around the stem of the shower head. Water is still flowing, although very slowly, from the shower head. I've replaced the seats, diverters (same thing as valve, right?), and rubber washer gaskets. Still leaking. Anything I need to know when installing them in order to prevent water drips from the shower head? I'm pretty handy, but this is stumping me. Thanks for your help.

Does it drip constantly or only for a couple of hours? A new set of seats and valves should have stopped more water from entering the pipe, but it might be that water between the mixer and head is slowly dripping out.

Thanks for the reply. It does drip constantly, but more slowly (about 2 cups a day - I put a small plastic container underneath to get a better idea)since installing new seats. It drips about the same amount when I replaced the rubber gaskets and valves about a year ago. It was dripping about 1/2 gallon a day before the recent replacement. The rubber gaskets just wore out fast because we were cranking down on the handles (valves).
