sewage ejector vs saniflo help

Hi Guys,

I'm looking to add a full bathroom to my basement, my only options are an sewage ejector pump or a saniflo system. is there a preferred one to go with? I got a decent quote for the sewage ejector setup, but just want to see what you guys have seen. Are one of them better than the other?

Saniflo pumps are pretty durable. They offer several type systems.

What brand and model sewage ejector did you get a quote on. What type and size basin ?

I’ve installed many sewage grinders and ejectors. Only one saniflo, but it’s worked great.

it's a 30" basin with a Zoeller #266 1/2 hp pump.

No high water alarm or control box ? What’s the basin made out of ? 30” deep, what’s the diameter ?

Yes there is a high water alarm, I do not know the diameter. I'll have to contact the contractor, it's not listed in the quote.

I’d probably go with the pump and basin if the price was right.
