Santinary tee higher than dishwasher inlet on tailpiece....

You have a few options.
1. Cut into the wall and lower the tee.
2. Get a low profile basket strainer.
3. Reverse the p-trap to make it work(not advised)
1. Right below the santee is a 90 el that runs to a drain pipe to the left.

3. I read that the j-bend is reversible. Meaning the long leg can be installed on either side.

Out of interest, if i left current basket strainer in place, what issues would arise? I guess the water line would always be at the bottom of the weir of the trap arm. maybe leading to leaks at the dishwasher inlet.
