Hello, this is the first time on this forum and I wasn't sure the best place to post this so I'm sorry if its in the wrong area.

What I'm currently doing is building a building in the woods behind my house for my son to move in to. He is already moved in I have the electricity already ran and hooked up.

Now I also want to atleast add in a toilet and a sink with also a outside water facet which I know how to do it's just my only concern is it's 200ft (give or take) and the building I'm building is up hill from my house.

So what I'm asking is if I put in a "T" pvc connector on the main water line coming from the house and run 200ft of pvc back to the building is there going to be any water pressure left? I think they make regulators that help push the water through I'm not sure if I need that or what all I need to make it work...

My second concern is the drain line, now I was thinking being up hill will help with this, what I am thinking I could do is also add a "T" to the pvc line that comes out of the house and heads to the septic. But again I'm worried about it traveling that far and if its going to work.

Any suggestions and ideas would be much appreciated. Thanks.

This is basically what I'm thinking of doing.

The blue line is existing water line running from the meter box to the house.
The red line is existing disposal line running from the house to the septic.
The yellow line is where I was thinking of adding a "T" connecter to run new water line.
The green line is where I was thinking of adding a "T" connecter for new drainage line.

Just trying to make more sense of what I want to do... Just wanted some input if its going to work before I spend the money on material and start digging all these trenches.

Thanks again for any input and help. Much appreciated.

On your sewer you can cut in or do a saddle wye connection. No T connection. Add a clean out every 50 feet and you are good as long as you have slope.

Is your water city or well?
