Hello everyone!

I would like to run a well pump remotely. I'm looking for something that when it receives current from a 240v pressure switch would wirelessly turn on a relay 100 feet away that would turn on a 240v circuit for a pump to run.

Any ideas?

They do make animals like that. But a properly set up well pump should be completely automatic. It should turn itself on when water is needed, turn itself off when no water is being used, and have built in protection for dry run, rapid cycle, and overload conditions. There are irrigation systems that detect leaks and can shut the water off with an electric valve. There are even leak detectors that you can put in the floor that will shut off the electric valve if they detect a leak.

You can run a well pump remotely, but why would you want to? Anything extra like that just makes it more complicated and less likely water will come out of the faucet when you open it.
