Recently purchased a home (built 2005) where the refrigerator water supply line is sticking out of the concrete slab and hardwood floor. While it works without any issues, because it's about 3" out from the exterior wall, it prevents our counter-depth refrigerator from sitting flush with the cabinetry. I can easily remove a couple of the hardwood strips around it (which I did for these pics) but not sure what's possible to change the connection so that I can slide my fridge all the way back.

If you want the fridge to go all the way back you need a recessed box in the wall. That’s going to require breaking concrete. So I guess the question is how bad do you want the fridge to be flush with the counter….

Is there a panel on the back of your fridge at the bottom? I would guess there should be. That's generally where the compressor sits. If you get creative and take the cover off you may be able to knotch a slot into this compartment at the bottom.

Otherwise like above, bust the concrete and be ready to cuss if your not experienced with this type of thing.

You could chip out enough concrete to get it below the hardwood.

Then cut the pipe off 1/4” below the slab with an oscillating tool.

Use a swage to expand the copper and make a socket.

Use a St. 90 soldered in to the socket to direct the pipe to the wall.

It would require some special tools and some skill.
