A 55 gallon drum has a two inch nps bulkhead opening. Is there a way to reduce that 2" nps to couple 3/4, 1" or 1.5 Pvc?

More info needed. You could use a bung plug and drill an opening to braze in a brass coupler or something. If there isn't much pressure, using the bung plug with a 3/4" hole in it, put a nut on it with a washer and rubber seal.

Really depends on what you are wanting to use it for, and whether or not you have the bung plug available to you. I take it that you have already searched your local plumbing supply stores.

Drums like that usually have a larger like 3" and smaller like 3/4" bung.

Thanks jwwing. i hadn't thought of drilling a hole in the bung, whivh I do have. I think that should work. The other opening Is smaller and will be used for something else.

Cheers.
