reduced pressure?

My pipes feeding the shower were installed 8 yrs ago.

All of a sudden I get 1/2 the water. Don't suggest the shower head is clogged!!

Now, can someone offer a cause for this?

Blockage in the controls/faucet.

Shower head is clogged.

Or the valve is gummed up. Strip it down, remove the cartridge(s) clean everything up.
