I recently had my house winterized, but I do not like the antifreeze product he used.

My plan is to replace it with the non-toxic RV antifreeze that I prefer.

I figure I can do this easily at the sinks and drains by just dumping mine in, as I assume it will flush his out into the sewer.. (correct me if i am wrong about this)

But the toilet has me a bit confused. The tank is mostly empty, other than maybe an inch of antifreeze, and the bowl has his antifreeze in it. When I try to flush the toilet, nothing happens.

How can I get rid of his antifreeze in the toilet and replace it with my own?

Dump it down the toilet it will flush. Or fill up the tank will antifreeze and flush like you would if it was filled with water.

The reason why the toilet has a little bit of water in the tank is to prevent the tank and bowl from cracking due to too much water in it so he drained most water and winterized it with antifreezed solutions, because it is made of porcelain it is much easy to crack more than most of your pipes system.

Unless he used automotive antifreeze, i can't think of what he may of used that could be toxic. Even most glycol is non toxic
