I live on a farm and we have been trying to get a well service tech out here for months to install a new pump on a well. Sheesh.

So, hubs and I finally pulled it the hard way, glad it was only 50 feet of pipe! The previous pump rusted off of the pipe about half way up, but I had a good belay on the wire.

Pumps, poly pipe and fittings are hard to come by right now, so we are starting with 1.25' poly pipe and hopefully 24 gpm. Wish us luck~

My wife and I pulled a pump once that was down 130 feet, by hand, but it was on 1" flexible plastic! When I put it down 7 years earlier I didn't tape the wires to the pipe well enough, and one of the wires broke right above the pump. It was a easy fix, and we put it right back down.
