Ok now I got my well fixed I am having some winter weather issues. I have my pipes wrapped but lately that does not seem to be enough I woke up this am and the pipes leading to the house was busted I fixed that and put a small space heater on the pipes that did not break to allow water to resume. It did for a while (about an hour or so) but then it just stopped went out and looked at the pressure tank it was at 0 pressure. So i put the heater back on it thinking maybe a piece of ice got in there that did not melt all the way pressure came back to about 20 and water ran then back to zero after a few minutes the water keeps cycling like this. So I went under the house again and checked the air valve on the pressure tank to make sure it had not ruptured only got air out of it. Then I wiggled the tank and found it was very light I am assuming I have no water in it. At this point I turned the well pump off to preserve it. Any ideas why this would happen.

I am guess but not sure that something is blocking my pressure tank keeping water from entering it then after a bit the well is just building up enough pressure to push a little water through. But you guys know more than me I am just speculating.

Thanks in advance I am plagued by plumbing problems since I bought this land.

I am not sure what is going on I woke up this am went outside turned the pump back on expecting to have to play with it a bit and it started working just fine. Been going good for a couple hours now.
