I need to replace my pressure reducing valve, which seems pretty straight forward. I'm just not sure what size the valve is. The lines are 1/2 inch copper lines and the line after the valve has a threaded fitting soldered onto it that threads into the reducing valve and the line before the valve is connected to the valve by what looks like a large coupling that threads on. To remove it looks like you would loosen and remove the coupling and then have to rotate the valve itself until it comes lose from the threaded fitting soldered onto the water line. The threaded fitting looks bigger than the 1/2 copper line so would that mean I need a 3/4 inch reducing valve or just a 1/2 inch one? I'm in need of help on this. Thanks for anyone offering help.
