Am i correct that if the pressure gauge on my water pressure tank is bad, it will affect my pressure switch? I justy changed my pressure switch and my gauge hasnt moved. the glass is broke and seems stuck.

Yes I am a novice at plumbing. I live in Michigan. The initial problem was the pressure switch would trip and then we heard a humming noise. I replaced the pressure switch and went to repressurize it. It doesn't have a Schrader valve anywhere I can see so I assumed it was bladder less. We don't have as much pressure in the house as we did beforehand. Did I restart it wrong or could it be the prv nweds to be replaced as well?

The Schrader valve should be on the top of the pressure tank. Air pressure needs to be adjusted for the switch to work properly (correct water pressure).

I looked on top. No valve.

I'm going down in the crawl space and sending pictures.

OK I replaced the gauge and humming went away. However the water pressure is lower then when I replaced switch and gauge.
