I am trying to setup a thing in my bathroom. I came to US from India last year. I am living in an apartment for rent where I am not allowed to do any change in my bathroom to the hardware.

I am trying to use a small pump that can pull up water from a bucket of water located on the same floor. I want to connect the other side of the pump to a hand held bidet so that I can do the job after toilet with hot water.

I don't know if this plan works or not. If it is workable what capacity the pump should have?

Please advise me. Any comment would be helpful to me.

Thanks a lot!

I have installed some toilet seats that basically make your toilet into a bidet, but the homeowner bought them and I didn't ask where. Those may be more helpful to you.

Vicky, if you have a shattaf / bidet sprayer, you can get a 3-way T-adapter that hooks to the water supply of the toilet and has a lever you can turn to switch between water going to the toilet tank and the sprayer. It's similar to a diverter.
KES and Luxe make them. I've seen them on Aliexpress, Amazon, and I think E-bay. The trick is to find one that will fit the size of your water supply, bidet line, and toilet inlet valve- although, you can get adapters to make things fit.

Something like this, for instance: KES LP903+K1018 Hand Held Bidet with Shut Off Valve and Hose
or BIDET4ME HB-28 Handheld Bidet Shattaf with Adjustable Pressure Shut-off Valve

They come with the sprayer, hose, wall mount, and adapter.

If you browse through the sites, you can find the style you like. Some of the t-adapters can attach directly to the toilet's supply on the bottom of the tank or they can attach just below the line going up to the toilet. If you don't want to drill holes in the wall, you can probably find some sort of other way to mount the sprayer.

Or you can go with something like Luxe Bidet Neo 120 - Self Cleaning Nozzle - Fresh Water Non-Electric Mechanical Bidet Toilet Attachment

I found this one at Amazon, in my bathroom the sink is very far away from the toilet. So I can't use this.

If I can attach it to the tub's faucet that would be awesome.

You need to read the product description more carefully-

* Includes 10' clear industrial grade polymer hose that you can customize to your specific length

* Question: Could it be attached to a bathtub faucet?

Answer: If your bathtub faucet has a removable aerator, then YES, it can be attached. You may need an adapter but these are readily available at the big home improvement stores.

This is great for apartments where modifications are not allowed to supply warm water to the device (electric or mixing valve).

I believe, Ms Vicky, these 2 adaptors will fit the item you posted from amazon, they will attach to the pipe on your shower head

remove the shower head. their will be a 1/2'' pipe thread [male]

attach to it.

maybe, on the spout on the tub..their are different types of spouts, i do not know the type you have
you may be able to remove the spout and attach the adaptors

Is it just me, or are the screencast links broken?

Yes, thank you for getting back to us. So often people just disappear and never post again. I hope you found what you were looking for!
