pex tool question

Will a copper pipe expander work to expand pex (a) with uponor pex ring. Never have used one in this manner and looking at the cost of the copper expander electric assist ones it sure is a lot cheaper than the uponor , pro pex 2432-22 m12, or the dce400b. Has anyone ever tried the copper expander on the pex(A) with the uponor pex ring. I am just looking for an alternative. Any suggestions of why it doesnt work or how it could be modified to work.

It won't work. They make manual pipe expanders for Upenors system. They are quite the arm work out!
