Now here was a dumb move. Fixing a leak in my pump house, I removed a 2.5" pipe and stuffed it with a paper towel to keep clean.
Put it all back together, cranked on the water, and wondered why my water pressure was low at certain faucets in my house. Took off the aerators, and bits of paper sediment were present - THEN I remembered what I did.
Some sinks are good, others are flowing low.
So, what is the best way to remedy?
1. Can I flush with chlorine? Does vinegar or anything else work to disintegrate a paper towel?
2. Do I need to pull apart each fixture where it throats down to 3/8" or 1/2"? That would be a lot of work.
3. OR... do I just leave it and hope that it disintegrates and goes away?
