I've got an old bathroom faucet with odd ball-like rounded knobs and I can't figure out how to open them up. I've searched the net far and wide and haven't stumbled across anything like this. I'm getting a little water leaking from it and I'd like to replace the washer... actually I may just replace the whole thing. My wife and I aren't exactly fans of the look :D

I can see the seam and it almost looks like it would twist off, however, one of the 'bumps' appear to be connected to the top whereas the 3 others seem to be connected to the base. Hard to explain. It doesn't feel like it will twist off though. I'm afraid to use too much brute force and cause damage.

Anyone seen anything like this and know how to access the washer? Any help would be much appreciated.

that's a new one on me. There are very few push-fit handles and that isn't one, so likely it unscrews (clumsily).

Try a rubber strap wrench if your gonna unscrew just so you don't mark it up

That looks pricey to me. I do see a split going thru the center of the handle, so I'm guessing that it the initial part of the puzzle?
